Landscape Arch

Landscape Arch is located in the Devil’s Garden section in Arches National Park. It is the largest natural arch in North America, 5th largest in the world. It spans 290 feet long and only 6 feet thick at it’s thinnest part.

Parking – There is a parking lot in the Devil’s Garden trailhead. It is about 18 miles north of the visitor center and takes about 45 minutes to drive. Parking also fill up on busy times.

Hiking – Take the Devil’s Garden main trail to Landscape Arch. It’s a relatively flat 1.9 mile hike out and back. There are areas that are paved and some areas are in deep soft sand so wear appropriate footwear. If you want to continue on the Devil’s Garden trail, you can find Pine Tree and Tunnel arches, Double O Arch, Navajo and Partition arches, and Dark Angel. The trail gets more challenging after Landscape Arch so go prepared if you plan on venturing out further.
